GROUP020 processes the personal data of candidates and business relations with the utmost care and on a strictly confidential basis and in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

GROUP020 collects personal data only and to the extent necessary for the performance of its assignments: the finding of candidates for vacancies.

GROUP020 has produced a privacy policy which, in our opinion, complies with the appropriate organisational and technical measures laid down in the GDPR.

Collection, processing and use of personal data

GROUP020 collects personal data only and to the extent necessary for the performance of its assignments, namely the finding of candidates for vacancies. Personal data can be for both potential and actual candidates for a position and can also concern business relations of GROUP020.

Personal data that is processed includes data from the CV, emails or letters, name and address details, date of birth, education, current and previous positions, salary data and reports of interviews made by consultants.

GROUP020 can use the personal data at its disposal to communicate with candidates and business relations by post, telephone or email, or through personal contact:

  • to inform them about and to invite them to events,
  • to inform candidates about the latest positions,
  • to send candidates newsletters and/or press releases,
  • to congratulate candidates on a new position,
  • to consult with candidates because of their specific knowledge,
  • to maintain relations with candidates,
  • to keep business relations informed of news and developments.

Retention period of personal data

When a candidate is registered in the GROUP020 database, it is the start of a generally long-term relationship. The personal data of candidates should therefore be available for an extended period of time.

GROUP020 handles personal data with care and looks after it safely and securely. In the event that personal data is deleted at the request of the candidate or due to a decision taken by GROUP020 to remove it from its database, the parties concerned will be informed.

Security of personal data

GROUP020 employees take the greatest of care with the personal data under their control and have a duty of confidentiality with regard to the data entrusted to them by the client or candidate. GROUP020 makes use of technical and organisational security measures to protect the personal data that we process as well as possible from infringement. Our security measures are being continually improved in line with technological (ICT) developments.

In the event that a data leak (infringement) is detected, the persons affected will be informed and a report shall be made to the appropriate authorities.
