You are the trusted advisor and expert for your Client in the financial sector. In this position you report to the European Sales Director in London. You are responsible for all aspects concerning the customer as well as the development and execution of the global accountplan. Your accountplan describes the global strategy for a 3 to 5 year period. In cooperation with your international colleagues you built a strategic network within the organization of the Client on C-level,

As Director you initiate and manage all international sales activities as well as your local sales professionals. Your focus is to add value to the customer, establish and maintain maximum commitment and further expansion of opportunities. Your role is to steer on big new sales opportunities that substantially contribute to turn over, profitability of the account. You are actively engaged in this activity.

The position requires you to be an experienced Global Account Director preferably in the finance sector. You know the sector from a worldwide perspective and have deep understanding of the changes that customers are confronted with. Your network is relevant on C-level i.e. boardroom and you are highly skilled in building and maintaining business relations whilst being a strong negotiator in complex environments. You utilize your network and relations to obtain in depth knowledge of the specific business of this account.

As can be expected, integrity, reliability and initiative are key elements to this position. You know the business model, strategy and market i.e. competitive position of the customer. You have substantial awareness of all influences that have an effect on the social, legal, economical, political as well as the technological environment. You have been successful in achieving targets and budgets.

As Global Account Director you will hold one of the foremost senior sales positions within our Client's organization. For this reason we will invite only those candidates who match the job criteria in full.

Functie eisen Global Account Director

● Proven track record as Global Account/Client Director in the finance sector

● Extensive international (work-) experience

● Excellent network capability and strong convincing interlocutor

● Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English, both oral and written

● Strong commercial i.e. sales focus in combination with managing international sales teams in

complex environments

● Development of customer specific services and solutions with a focus on added value and

building a solid long term relationship

● Analytical and problem solving in complex matters, solution driven

● Empathic in approach, awareness of culture diversity

● Leading complex processes and achieving buy in of all stakeholders, both in- and external,

inspiring motivator

● Result driven

You will be reporting to the senior management in the head office in London. You will comply with the companies procedures and processes and add to these as appropriate and needed. Within the reporting structure your accountplan is leading and as such the basis of your periodic feedback to stakeholders.

You will hold office in the Netherlands. The position requires extensive travel up to 50% of your working time.
