In this role you sell the solutions of our client including multiple security access products by generating leads and sales opportunities. You will manage accounts in the verticals "Overheid" and "Educatie" and will be responsible for the entire sales process. You create and implement strategic account plans with focus on attaining enterprise-wide deployment of products and services. During the sales process you develop executive relationships with key buyers and influencers.

Responsibilities

  • Implement a strategic sales process to identify new business opportunities;
  • Maintain key relationships and managing the sales process through to closure of sale;
  • Manage all aspects of the sales process to secure new customers;
  • Understand, develop en build a territory sales plan;
  • Make sure that monthly and quarterly business targets are achieved;
  • Create and implement strategic account plans to obtain an enterprise-wide deployment of services and products;
  • Generate and accurately forecast a sales pipeline;
  • Coordinate with the appropriate internal groups to generate and deliver winning contract bids, proposals, RFI/RFP responses, and statements of work;

Functie eisen (Major) Account Manager Netherlands

  • A relevant, completed HBO education;
  • At least 5 years experience in solution and service based sales within a networking hardware and/or related high technology business;
  • Experience in selling network solutions to health care and/or flexible to other verticals;
  • Minimum of 3 years expertise in selling netwerk products and services;
  • Strong presentation, written and oral communication skills are a must;
  • Excellent knowledge of multiple platforms in correlation with networking, secure access products, competitors and market landscape;
  • Self-motivated team player with a hunter-type mentality;
